Here are some more photos from our April 2018 show, a selection from “Scapin’s Deceits” (“Les Fourberies de Scapin”) by Molière. Once again, they all were taken by our friend Nicolas Bézier. Hope you enjoy them!

Photos by Nicolas Bézier of the 2018 production of “A Week in the Country”
We’re going to be presenting photos from our April 2018 productions of “A Week in the Country” (“Huit jours à la campagne”) by Jules Renard and “Scapin’s Deceits” (“Les Fourberies de Scapin”) by Molière over the coming weeks, starting with this selection from “A Week in the Country”. All photos are by our friend Nicolas Bézier. Hope you enjoy them, and stay tuned for more coming soon!
Victoria College students part of this year’s Troupe
We may be “La Troupe des Anciens” — the Alumni Troupe — but we also have two second-year students at Victoria College in the University of Toronto, both with French language and linguistics as part of their programs of study, as actors this year. Landon Bryson is playing Octave in Scapin’s Deceits, returning after having played Cléonte in The Would-be Gentleman last year. Caitie Collins is joining us for the first time and is playing Marie in A Week in the Country by Jules Renard. We are proud of the long tradition of the Troupe offering students — and adults alike — the opportunity to take part in French in the classics of the theatre.
Join us this evening, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 8 PM, at the George Ignatieff Theatre as Landon, Caitie and the rest of the Troupe take to the stage one last time this year for the final performance of A Week in the Country and Scapin’s Deceits. Consult the information page and contact the box office for tickets.
New cast photos
As the last of our four school matinee shows finished up yesterday, we took a moment for a couple of new cast photos. Hope you enjoy the Troupe 2018!
